ABOUT me in 2 minutes

offroad lifestyle ambassador

Picture
I am a two-time women’s national rock crawling champion, and first woman to ever cross the finish line at King of the Hammers.  As a former professional rock crawler and monster truck driver, I've conquered the most extreme terrain imaginable. Check out how I got to now.

I four wheel all over the world, I’m a wife, I’m a mom, and…whew!...when it’s all put together, I’ve become one of the best known females in the off road industry.
I have followers in over 40 countries and have driven as a professional in 10 countries. I use my Jeep, JUWL, to promote the off road lifestyle everywhere I go.

I meet thousands of folks out on the trails, and I am obsessed with providing engaging social media content. Follow me and my crazy adventures!

monster jam truck driver

My favorite part of my experience at Monster Jam was living the girl-power revolution and demonstrating what women can do it!
As the original driver of the Scooby-Doo Monster Jam truck, a 12-foot tall, 10,000-pound beast powered by 1,500 horses, I can truly say my experiences in the truck and on the track were unique and rewarding.
I won racing at my first show when I started with Monster Jam in 2011 driving Tasmanian Devil. That year I broke the record for the most wins by a rookie or a female in a single season, and received the 2011 Monster Jam Rising Star Driver award.
By 2012 I was driving the title sponsor truck, Advance Auto Parts Grinder and raced in the inaugural Young Guns Shootout at Monster Jam World Finals.
I experienced a phenomenal growth year in 2013 when the Scooby-Doo truck was first introduced. Fans of all ages embraced Scooby and me, and the truck was wildly popular in every city we performed across the globe.

family life

My husband Frank and I grew up in Southern California. After I graduated from Brigham Young University in 1996 with a degree in Construction Management, we moved to Las Vegas and have been here ever since.
Both of our dads were from Hawaii, so when our boys were born, we naturally gave them Hawaiian names. Palani is a freshman at Utah State University and Kainoa is a sophomore in high school. They get their height from my tall, skinny, Portuguese Dad.
